SURREY (NEWS 1130) — Fraser Health has declared COVID-19 outbreaks at two Metro Vancouver care homes.
In a statement released Saturday, the authority says residents have tested positive at both Nicola Lodge, in Port Coquitlam, and Fleetowwd Villa in Surrey.
“Two residents at Fleetwood Villa and three residents at Nicola Lodge have tested positive for COVID-19. Fraser Health has declared outbreaks at both sites, and a Fraser Health rapid response team is at each site. Communication with residents and families is underway,” the statement reads.
Rapid response teams have been sent to both sites, and contact-tracing is underway.
Meantime, the outbreaks at Bradley Centre in Chilliwack, and White Rock Seniors Village have been declared over.
