PORT COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) — Scary moments for students and staff at Terry Fox Secondary school Thursday morning after a fire broke out inside a classroom.
There are no reports of any injuries and it’s not known if anyone was inside the classroom when the fire started.
“At this time it appears it was an electrical fire and that classroom was evacuated and fire department was called. Classes in that wing have been cancelled for the remainder of the day while restoration is underway,” Ken Hoff with the Coquitlam School Board said.
